Tommy Jeans X UO Summer Pastels

Urban Outfitters collaborated with the 90's best including: Champion, Juicy Couture, Reebok and Fila, so there's no suprise that they would look to stock Tommy Jeans next. 

UO presented 90's shortfalls weeks ago and now turns to pastels. Outwear and sweatshirts are graced with light mint and canary yellow alike. There’s standout pink on select T-shirts – all the while printed with Tommy Jeans’ signature red, white and blue logo. I am a fan of this collection as it brings back nostalgic times of childhood with summery colours and bold prints.

Task 3 & Task 4 (FCP)

For the last task of the year, we had to create a perfume brand that was innovative and unique. My brand is called Enhance, it's a wearable fitness technology brand serving the function of making you smell good whilst you workout and giving you that extra oomph whilst doing so #EnhanceYourWorkout.

Inspired by fashion photographers, such as Steven Klein and Guy Bourdin, we had a photoshoot of which we chose 2 girls aged 20 wearing gym attire covered in poster paint to represent our brand.
Here are some sketchbook pages about Task 3 & Task 4. I have throughoughly enjoyed this end project as it has broadened my horrizons on what makes a brand successful and how important the consumer is.

96 Hours

As an avid reader of 'Hypebae' a website specialising in new and exclusive fashion trends and collaborations; when discovering that one of my favourite artists The Weeknd was dropping his 'Starboy' merchandise for 96 hours, I had to jump on the bandwagon. Comprised of an extensive lineup of apparel and accessories, including a "Stargirl" bomber and a "Party Monster" denim jacket, the collection is a fan-girl's dream, something I hope to purchase if I'm lucky enough to bag the items in time.

The Cannes Film Festival this year brought oppulence to a new level with the ballgowns presented. From Hayley Baldwin's eye-catching purple number to Kendall Jenner's show stopping white couture gown, everyone was on their A game. Here are a few of my favourite pieces.

Kracking Kimonos

Kimonos have for several seasons been the accessory of choice for holidaymakers trying to improve their poolside posing ensembles. There's an inherent glamour to the kimono (a garment with a beautiful Japanese history - and fits perfectly into the au courant style equation that is leveraging volume, drama and sweeping lengths. I personally am a huge fan of kimonos as I find them immensly flattering and add that extra dimension and oomph to an outfit, whether it be covering a bikini, paired with a top and flares or merely worn as a dress, the kimono is a key statement piece to have.
