Fashion Photographers

When it comes to fashion photography, I like the contrast between the 'realists' such as: Terry Richardson and Juergen Teller and the 'surrealists' such as: Tim Walker and Cecil Beaton. There is such a different element of style and genre in all the photographers works' and i love how diverse and ambigious each of their work is. Walker juxtaposes his images of fantasy and reality, whereas Richardson is more focused on high profile celebrities with a plain white background. My other favourite photographers include the 'story teller' Mario Testino and the 'colourist' Steven Klein. Here are a few of my favourite images:

Pink Velvet Interiors

Whilst recently visiting Sketch, the pink velvet interiors in the beautiful restaurant enticed me to blog about the new trend. The aspect of pink velvet reminds me of Juicy Couture velour tracksuits as there's something quite fitting about these tracksuits and a pink velvet sofa. Whilst observing this interior certain words sprung to mind, such as: oppulence, decadence, sensual and feminine.

Gingham Trend

The Gingham Trend is something which stood out to me on pinterest whilst looking for a daily source of fashion inspiration. The trend has a level of sophistication with ladylike silhouettes, tailored blouses and blazers, dresses with hourglass shapes, and pencil skirts with up-to-there slits. The print can be combined with graphic tee's, a pair of denim jeans and certainly mules for shoes. Here are some of my favourite Gingham looks.

It Was All Yellow

Yellow seems to be a prominent colour in this year's SS/17 wardrobe. I am a big fan of the colour yellow as it's so eye-catching and bold that regardless of what you wear, you will make a statement. Yellow aviator sunglasses are particularly affluential at festivals adding a pop of colour to the wardrobe. I have noted some of my favourite yellow pieces for Spring/Summer, Enjoy! A x

Coachella 2017

It's that time of year again, Coachella. Instagram is filled with models/celebrities/bloggers wearing the most envious festival wardrobe known to man and killing us all with the best looking pool parties in the world. Coachella is such a prominent festival as not only is it about the music, but the fashion is particularly the main subject. Festival fashion is inflluenced by the outfits worn by these socialities in which many people including I try to recreate in the summer. With the sun booming down in Palm Springs it's no shock that many celebrities opted for shorts/swimsuits and kimono's. A strong sense of behomian and also the 90's trend was also noteworthy at this year's Coachella. My favourite looks were those worn by: Kendall Jenner, Sofia Richie, Hailey Baldwin, Madison Beer and lastly Valentina Ferragni.
